The 150-year-old Festetich Palace is one of the most beautiful monuments of a Transdanubian charming village, Szeleste of Vas County. This castle-hotel was built in Romanesque style and is situated on an arboretum of 5,47 acres (13,5 ha) with own thermal bath and is surrounded by little serpentine paths. The hotel is located only 15,5 miles (25km) from Szombathely and 8,7 miles (14km) from Sárvár. Our thermal water is supplied by a 60 ◦C thermal spring out of 1260 m depth. 1 l water contains 4600 mg salt, which is excellent for locomotor disorders, pre- and post-treatment of joint operation, post-treatments, rheumatic diseases, several skin diseases and disorders of the cardiovascular system. The room price includes the entrance fee of the bath. The parlour of the Hotel Castle Festetich is furnished in Biedermayer style, where our guests can enjoy the atmosphere of the 19th century. Moreover, the Hotel has its own library where several Hungarian and foreign-language books can be found, besides some entertaining board games. The hotel is surrounded by a protected arboretum of 5,47 acres (13,5 ha), where guests can take a romantic walk and appreciate the special flora of the amazing and enormous park.
