The "Gulyás Csárda" restaurant and private house is runned by a family.
Our atmospheric and familiar restaurant will offer You recreation. On the spacious and comfortable terrace and in our garden we are waiting our guests with different meats baked in the oven, with garden parties (goulash and grill parties) and according to demands we are waiting our guests with a Gipsy music evening.
Our restaurant is open from 15th March to 15th October. We offer our visitors the specialities of Hungarian and international cuisine. We also shoulder to give full board for groups, to organize family and friendly gatherings, moreover business meetings as well. Our restaurant-with its atmospheric interior- is suitable for receiving forty people comfortably. Our shady terrace can entertain fifty people and our garden seventy persons in hot summer days.
Our restaurant has an aim to spoil our guests with meals from fresh ingredients. In the "Gulyás Csárda" we make delicious sauces with special care. On the menu there is a wide choice among sauces; for example: they can be spicy, exotic or hot. Among our offers You can find several vegetarian dishes and salad-bowls. We have several specialities among meats as well; for example duck and knuckle of pork baked in the oven.
In the garden we organize goulash- and grill parties, which are very popular among our guests. On the basis of a previous arrangement we also shoulder to organize entertaining evenings with different music. (Gipsy band, Country music, Accordion music)
We offer our visitors a pleasant pastime with a wide choice of our delicious Hungarian and international meals and specialities.
The restaurant is open from 15th March to 15th October.
The private house is waiting for those who want to have a rest all year found in order to spend their holiday in a familiar environment.
Apartmanshouse:
Our private house is a totally new building with new furniture, which is located 200 meters from the restaurant. In the building two apartments can be found (60m2/90m2) with an own and fenced in garden. The apartments can give a recreation possibility for maximum 11 persons; they are well-equipped and satisfying every demand.
We also offer our apartments with breakfast and half-board. There is a possibility to organize further accommodation.
In the garden there is a possibility for barbecue and playing for children. In every room there is a satellite being suitable for broadcasting more than 100 TV channels. We also have washing machine, fridge, microwave, built-in cooker, garden furniture and barbecue possibility.

FLY-BALATON - Airport of Sármellék - 20 km
Cserszegtomaj is a settlement between Keszthely (2 km) and Hévíz (2 km). The village lies in one of the biggest territories in Europe. Regarding its permanent inhabitants the sixty per cent of them are foreigners. In the settlement-which is directly next to the National Park- hiking and bicycle tours can be organized to the forest. The vicinity of Lake Balaton (5km) makes it possible to do water-sports; sailing, canoeing, surfing, angling, sunbathing, swimming and cycling found Lake Balaton. (on the bicycle road; it is 150 kilometres).
In Keszthely (2 km), in "the capital of Lake Balaton " there are a lot of nice museums, there is a theatre and good shopping possibilities. For teenagers there are a lot of discos and night clubs.
The biggest "natural thermal" lake of the world can be found in Hévíz. (2 km).
Besides this; there are several other settlements with thermal spas in our region: Kehidakustány (15 km), Zalakaros (28 km), Zalaszentgrót (20 km), Marcali (25 km), and many more.
In the following settlements mediaeval castles can be found: in Sümeg (25 km), in Szigliget (20 km) and in Reziben (6 km)
In Balatonederics (15 km) there is a Safari Park and Africa Museum.
The Kis-Balaton Nature Reserve Area can be also visited (12 km).
In Zalaszántó (20 km) a Buddhist monument called "Stupa" can be seen.
